In Canada, the agriculture food safety initiative was designated by the CanadaGAP® program which provided extensive guidelines and document templates for food producers to help them to comply with food safety practices. The Canada GAP program helps in reducing the documentation work extensively; it can also help food producers access markets that were not available to them without certification.
